A miraculous haven of peace
This is not our first ayurvedic stay in Kerala but the contrast with our previous experiences could not be greater. During our stay we were alone and this was wonderful! Total peace, with the staff doing wonders for our welfare.
It was really like staying with friends, and by the end of our stay they were really our friends!
More than a hotel, it's living in a large plantation house which provides ayurvedic treatment. The manager and his children, the owner and her friends coming to visit, the doctor and her beloved garden, this is the "good life" in India.
On a more down to earth level the treatments are of quality and the food is flavourful and perfectly adapted to non Indian taste buds.
With 4 hours of massage and 2 hours of yoga there is little time for other activities and anyway, the place being isolated there is not much to do but contemplate the beautiful view and walking in the nearby surrounding.
